‘Transgender’ Science Teacher Campaigns to Use Female School Restrooms

Transgender “woman” Mark “Vince” Busenbark (“Vica Steel”), a science teacher, is garnering support from the LGBT community through an open letter in Our Lives newsletter to use restrooms at the school where he teaches that he contends are used by both female faculty and female students
Last year Busenbark forced students at Frank Allis Elementary School in Madison, Wis., to watch his “coming out” video of him “changing” from a man to a woman “all so [the children] can know who I am and who I am becoming,” he said. And these were students as young as 6!
As if that wasn’t enough, Busenbark has been using the restroom at the school that is designated for use by young female students, not the one for female staff.
Tim LeMonds, Madison Metropolitan School District’s public information officer, clarified: “There is no district policy regarding adult staff using children’s bathrooms, so therefore there have been no policy changes. However, as a best practice the district does encourage adult staff to not use a children’s bathroom.” The reasoning for this bathroom suggestion is for student safety.
Busenbark called this proposal “transphobic” and motivated by “fear” and “hate,” even though the district allows teachers to use whichever adult restroom they want.
Interestingly, feminists are also sounding the gong as well. Feminist website 4W countered Busenbeck’s campaign with, “Although school district teachers must pass strict background checks, there have, in fact, been multiple cases of trans-identified male adults who have sexually preyed on girls in public bathrooms. It is unclear if Steel is unaware of these cases, or does not consider them ‘endangering or attacking.’”
