‘Awaken the Dawn’ Brings Revival to America
Oct 8, 2025 by FACT
Awaken the Dawn is inviting Christians from all around the nation to join together in Washington, D.C. for four days of nonstop prayer and praise on the National Mall as part of “Communion America.”
Founded in 2017, Awaken the Dawn (ATD) has impacted hundreds of thousands of Christians nationwide, bringing revival to our nation's capital and spreading the gospel to elected officials. ATD’s website explains its mission:
Awaken The Dawn is a grassroots movement of day and night worship, prayer and missions. Beyond the events, we are a nationwide family with the shared value of hosting the presence of God, leading to a third great awakening in America and the nations.
We exist to disciple America and the nations to host the presence of God, leading to catalytic change.
We see a grass-roots Jesus Movement in the United States of America, resulting in an unprecedented move of God impacting the nations.

Communion America will feature 50 tents representing all 50 states, as well as many other tents dedicated to praying for Israel, Gen Z, and other special interests.

The event will take place from October 9 to October 12. View the schedule here and register for free here. If you aren’t able to attend, we encourage you to tune in to the livestream here.
The American church is experiencing a pivotal moment. We are on the precipice of a great revival. Young men are returning to Christianity in droves. Bible sales are at an all-time high. Church attendance is on the rise.
Our nation is searching for hope, for peace, for order in a chaotic world.
The martyrdom of Charlie Kirk tipped the scale for many non-believers on the brink of salvation, encouraging them to seek out Christ.
“Many pastors say Kirk’s unapologetic faith and courage in public life have inspired young believers to take their faith more seriously,” one article noted.
We pray that Communion America will carry this momentum forward and bring true revival to our nation’s capital!
Not only did Charlie help young Christians connect to God, he emphasized the importance of bringing our faith into the halls of government. He believed, as we do, that our fundamental rights come from God – the Declaration of Independence simply declares them on paper.
“America is more than just the geography of the states – that makes us exceptional, without a doubt. But it’s also an idea. It’s the first country ever to be founded on an idea – that we get our rights from a higher being,” Charlie explained. “We don’t get our rights from government. We believe that individuals should be free and that the government’s actual existence is to protect our rights, not give us rights.”
Charlie was absolutely right. Unfortunately, this idea that the American government was created to defend our God-given rights is slowly eroding in the public mind. Christians – especially our elected officials – must dig deeper into this idea and carry their faith into the political realm. Our constitutional republic was never meant to exist apart from God, Christian principles, and moral people.
“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” – John Adams
It’s time to reclaim Christianity in American government. Will you take up the call?
